John Londay is an Experienced Staff Consultant at YETTER Tax and the Sales Tax Institute. John started at the company in 2010, developing his sales tax expertise in various roles. His current focus is on tax consulting, helping clients with their sales tax needs. John enjoys putting his sales tax knowledge to use by setting up tax systems for clients and helping them to understand their obligations and stay compliant. John is an Avalara Certified Implementation Partner.
In addition to working closely with clients, John creates learning materials for the Sales Tax Institute’s courses, including its live courses, monthly live webinars, and more. He has also played a significant role in writing and conducting research for numerous assets and publications for the Sales Tax Institute.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2000, where he was a recipient of the UNO Distinguished Scholar Award. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, cooking, and playing music. John is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, piano and drums, and was previously a professional DJ.
